Have you ever eaten something and the taste took you back in time. Recipes that remember is not just about recipes that are worth remembering, but is about the memories themselves. As I thumb through my mother’s old recipes which are stained with drops of butter, egg, and sugar it is as if they are snapshots of my childhood. Just reading through them brings back the tastes, smells, and memories that I had once forgotten.
Recipes that Remembers is dedicated to recalling memories from my past and from yours. I owe thanks to my daughter, Christa, for getting my blog up and running. It still needs a lot of work, but I hope it is enough of a glimpse of my new project that you will be inspired to contribute.
Take the time to read the about page, the sample recipes, and then submit a recipe and memory of your own. I am so excited to read your stories and taste your recipes. It is my hope that together we can build a lasting memory of our families that can be passed down to our children and our children’s children.

I look forward to hearing from you!
